FACT Ads Import - Privacy Policy

FACT Ads Import ("the app") is an internal reporting tool built and operated by Obsidian Black Ltd, a UK software consultancy, on behalf of a single client. It connects the client's own Google Ads account to their internal business dashboard. It is not offered to the public. This policy describes how the app handles data obtained from Google.

What Google data the app accesses

The app accesses Google Ads reporting data only, using the Google Ads API (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope): campaign names and identifiers, daily advertising cost, and conversion-value metrics. It does not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, location data, or any personal data of advertising end users, and it cannot create, change or remove anything in the Google Ads account - it is read-only.

How that data is used

The data is used for one purpose: displaying advertising performance alongside the client's own cost and revenue figures in their internal dashboard, so their team can see profitability per product category. The app reads the data once per day on a schedule. It is not used for advertising targeting, profiling, or any purpose beyond this reporting.

Where the data is stored

Fetched figures are stored in the client's own production database, on infrastructure operated for them by Obsidian Black Ltd, and transmitted over encrypted (TLS) connections throughout. API credentials are held server-side only and are never exposed in a browser or to end users.

Sharing

The data is not shared with, sold to, or made accessible to any third party. It is visible only to authorised internal users of the client's dashboard, behind authentication and role-based permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

FACT Ads Import's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and contact

The Google account holder who authorised the app can revoke its access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Questions about this policy, or requests concerning stored data, can be sent to [email protected].

Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
